9 Daily Blessings of God for Believers

A boy blessing
Do you know that you are blessed?

There are believers who are blessed and know it AND

There are believers who are blessed and don’t know it!

Which one are you?

What is the blessing of God? Is it more ‘stuff’ or material wealth? Is it having complete peace and joy?

The blessing of the Lord is His divine spoken favor over you in every area of your life.

When we take the blessings of the Lord found in His word and mix it with faith it will produce abundance, overflow in our lives.

Once you are blessed by the Lord, NO ONE and NOTHING can stop this blessing or reverse it – except you by not receiving by faith.

“Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.” Num. 23:20

The many blessings of the Lord can be found in His promises throughout scripture. In the article, I will focus on the blessings found in Deuteronomy 28:1-13.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 states the condition to receiving the blessings of God which is obedience to God – “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.”

As believers, we can freely access these blessings because Jesus was fully obedient, and we are now in Him.

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

On the cross, Jesus not only died for our sins, but He also became a curse for us so that we may receive the blessing of God.

Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.”

9 Daily Promises for Believers

Below are some of the blessings the Lord has promised us as believers in Deuteronomy 28: 1-13.

1.You are covered in God’s blessings wherever you are and wherever you go

“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

“Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

Deuteronomy 28:3,6

2.Your children are blessed

“Blessed shall be the fruit of your body” Deuteronomy 28:4

3.All your daily provisions are blessed with an abundance

“Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.” Deuteronomy 28:5

According to www.biblestudytools.com your basket and kneading bowl is “vessel(s) in which they put their provisions for present use, and that that should never be empty of them, and that they should always have a sufficiency”

Today this would refer to money in your purse, as well as food and clothes in your cupboard and any other daily provision you need to live in abundance.

4.You are divinely protected

“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.” Deuteronomy 28:7

5.Your work is blessed

“The Lord will command the blessing on you…. in all to which you set your hand” Deuteronomy 28:8

“The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand.” Deuteronomy 28:12

Everything you put your hand to will be successful!

6. Your savings are blessed

“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses.” Deuteronomy 28:8

In a storehouse, you store your produce. For us, this would be our savings, investments, and bank accounts.

7. You will increase

“And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.” Deuteronomy 28:11

8. The blessings on your life enable you to live debt free

“You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.” Deuteronomy 28:12

“And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail.” Deuteronomy 28:13

As you meditate on these blessings, speaking them over your life and loved ones, mixing them with faith – it will manifest!

Today’s Prayer

My prayer for you is that you will believe, speak, and receive the abundance that Jesus died to give you.

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11: 23
